Mainly classical academic training, throughout our professional career we have developed in other musical fields such as Conduction, Interpretation, Production and Recording, specialized in music for Cinema, TV, Performing Arts and Symphonic Music. We develop our work with different and contrasting musical styles: Classical, Pop, Rock, Electronic, Jazz, World Music, or different fusions of these styles with Contemporary or Traditional Symphonic and Chamber Music.

Personal information:
Place of birth and residence: Algemesí (Valencia) Spain.

Academic training:
Degree in the specialties of Saxophone (1994), Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Instrumentation (2002). Diplomat in Clarinet, Musical Language, Music Theory, Transposition and Accompaniment. 
Post-graduate in Composition and Orchestration, Provincian Council of Zaragoza (1998-2000).
2 Honorable Mentions in Saxophone, Superior Conservatory of Valencia, Spain. Saxophone training courses with Manuel Miján, Pedro Iturralde, Daniel Deffayet. Studies in Choral and Orchestral Conducting with the teachers José Collado and Dennis Ham. Advanced training courses in Composition with Mr. José Mª Cervera Lloret, David P. Graham, Julio Estrada, Robert Beaser, César Cano and Marian Didu.

Complementary Training (not regulated):
Studies in Modern Music, Arrangements, Composition and Improvisation of Jazz with José Luis Granell, Voro García, Joan Soler, Gregory Fritze (Berklee College of Music, Valencia) and Jesús Santandreu (Sedajazz). Training courses in music informatics both in sound treatment (Acoustic, Cubase, Logic Audio Pro) and in the production and editing of scores (Encore, Sibelius and Finale). Assistance to various courses and congresses of Film Music (Lalo Schifrin, José Nieto, Fernando Trueba, Luis García Berlanga, etc.) in Valencia and Madrid.

Professional experience:
1992-1996, Professor of Saxophone in the Professionals Conservatory of Algemesí.
1993-94, Arranger in the OTI Festival Orchestra, Valencia. Live musician for the Coral Producer Europe, Valencia.
1994-1997, component of the saxophone “Adolphe Sax” group, Valencia.
1996, Arranger on the album “Our Christmas Songs” by Montserrat Caballé and Montserrat Martí published by BMG Classics Music.
1997 to the present, music teacher in Secondary School with definitive destination in the IES José María Parra in Alzira (Valencia) since 2007.
2007-2010, Professor of Harmony, Musical Language and Fundamentals of Composition at the Professional Conservatory “Mestre Molins” in Quart de Poblet.
2008, founding member of the PROESO Instrumental Group, Conductor, Composer and Arranger.
2019, founder together with his brother Juan (GimEnez Bros. Film Music Composers) dedicated to the composition of music for images.

As a Composer he has more than 80 works composed or arranged for all kinds of classical formations (chamber and symphony), modern (various formations), or electronic music, some of them edited by Editorial Piles and Rivera Editores.
He collaborates and records albums with soloists and diverse groups: Montserrat Caballé, Montserrat Martí, “Brandenburgische Philharmonie” by Potsdam (Germany, 1996), “Spanish Brass Luur Metals”, “Adolphe Sax”, “Málaga Tubas Quartet”, “Huecco”, “Eva Dénia”, “Lydia Gregory”, “Bilonda”, “Palma Municipal Wind Band”, “PROESO Instrumental Group”, etc …

As a Musical Conductor he has conducted the “Joan Baptista Cabanilles Orchestra”, the “University Choir” of Albacete, the Rótova Music Wind Band, the Educational Project “Music knows no borders” and the PROESO Instrumental Group.

2000,  Winner of the civil exams of music professors in Secondary school.
2005, 1st Prize of the “VII Paco Llácer Composition Contest” organized by FECOCOVA with the composition for white voices “Tirallonga dels monosíl·labs” with lyrics by Pere Quart.
2007, Second prize in the “XX Reus City Prize for composition for children’s corals” for the song “Home amb Blues” with lyrics by Joaquim Horta i Massanés.
2015, 1st Prize of the “AETYB” organized Contest in the Ensemble category, with “Flamenco Rhapsody” for Tubas Quartet.
2018, Finalist of the XVII edition of the “Spanish Brass Alzira Festival” organized by SBLM with his work “Micro Tubes”.

Musician, arranger and deputy director of the Orchestra of the International Song Festival of Benidorm in 1993 and of the Orchestra of the OTI festival in 1994.

1989-2005, Founder and Artistic-Musical Conductor of the “Jove Orquestra Joan Bta. Cabanilles” from Algemesí, Valencia. Principal Conductor of several Wind Bands and Music Schools (Pobla Llarga, Albaida, Carlet).

It has about 120 works composed or arranged for all kinds of formations classical (chamber and symphonic) and modern (various formations), some of they edited by Ed. Piles and recorded on disc or CD; has premiered his compositions in Spain (Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, etc.) and in the USA (Boston, Cambridge, and Los Angeles).

As musical Conductor he has been invited in numerous national and foreign groups:
Symphony Orchestra of the National Theater of Opereta “Ion Dacian” of Bucharest (Romania), Philharmonic Orchestra “Ion Dumitrescu” of Rm.
